- In Spring 2021, the reading group theme was Sociolinguistic development over the lifespan.
- In Spring 2020, the reading group theme was Ethnicity and linguistic variation.
- In Spring 2023, the reading group theme was Sound change.
- In Spring 2024, we collaborated with the Semantics-Pragmatics Lab to read Heather Burnett’s (2023) book Meaning, Identity, and Interaction: Sociolinguistic Variation and Change in Game-Theoretic Pragmatics. We expect to continue reading this book together in Fall 2024.
